Missy's favorite TV show...

I felt this scene on my favorite TV show, "House." (Episode 512: Painless) was a great representation of most women I know... Including myself.

Dr Lisa Cuddy is trying to adopt a baby and has recently finished with the inspectors visit of her home when her "friend" and co-worker, Dr James Wilson, has come over for a visit. The scene takes place in Cuddy's home where in place of neatness and order there is a disarray of baby items and a briefcase used to hide a dirty diaper... and Cuddy is obviously upset.

Wilson: Did I mention you passed the inspection?

Cuddy: I passed by their meager standards... I failed by mine.

Wilson: Why do women always do that?!

Cuddy: Fail?

Wilson: Create ridiculous standards that no human could meet... with your careers... with your kids. You've got to be more like us men.

Cuddy: Be lazy? Blame others?

Wilson: Get help. Most men in your position have a deputy and two assistants at work and a wife and two nanny's at home. You're not super women. Don't be a martyr.
