Halloween Happenings

What a busy weekend! We had so much fun.... especially Emma. I guess there are perks to being a school age kid. From school carnivals to costume birthday parties, Halloween parties and trick-or-treating... it is amazing that we had time for our own family fun!

Emma's school had a parade of costumes, class party and after school was a carnival! She tried her first haunted house and she did NOT like it. So we spent the rest of the evening playing games and getting her face painted. Her teacher did her face painting... By the way she is a fabulous teacher!

Here she is playing cauldron-toss!

This was at a birthday party of a girl in Emma's class....Aurora... she also happens to be the daughter of my friend from High School! They were singing a Hannah Montana song together! These two girls are a lot a like.... it cracks me up to see them play together!

OK... I have to find the other picture of these two when they were babies but David and Emma go waaaay back! His mommy is my friend and she used to watch Emma for me when I worked. They are very close in birthdays... oh and also go to the same Empowerment school!

Emma and Aurora again.

Emma brought home from school a gutted pumpkin ready for carving. So one side was Elijah's face that he drew out for daddy to carve. He loves to draw monsters with lots of eyes... (I love Scott's face in this picture!)

Emma's side was cute, eyelashes and all!

All ready to go party and trick-or-treat! The sun was a little bright. Emma was a snow princess, Elijah was spider-man, and Scott was Lightening McQueen's pit crew!

I had to get a few extra shots of my girl...

It took us two hours.... but we had fun dressing her up! And yes, I used the princess Bump-it!

Isn't she cute!!

At Maggie and Jake's fabulous party! (This one is for you Maggie.... It is the best smile I could get! She loved making that pumpkin!)

Scott liked decorating pumpkins, too but I had to remind him that his head was not the pumpkin!

He eventually got it right!

LJ made a pumpkin with lots of eyes... Who'd of guessed! (Sorry about my googly-eye hog guys!)
This is the only family photo we took... Scott kept trying to sit down and Elijah was trying to pull him up. Hence the face! We left the party just as the sun was setting to go trick-or-treating at our sis's house.

These are my 3 favorite nieces.... They were all mermaids.... Aren't they cute!

Scott actually went up to a lot of the doors by himself!

Mommy and daddy goofing off in the dark!

Here is Emma and Anna. They have been best friends since they were little and will always remain best of friends.

The kids put this together with daddy since last year daddy had to work. It has been nice having him home. He gets to do things with the kids that he normally missed out on because of the demands of the business. I think they did a pretty good job on it!

Did I mention that it was edible? All though the cookie walls were very dry, the candy did not last long. Plus demo-ing the walls was fun, too!

After checking all the kids candy we concluded that this holiday was very AWESOME!

What a great Halloween we had!

CUTE!!! You have the cutest family, I've been kind of slacking in the walking department, but I'll let you know when I go again, I don't know about Maggie and Brooks:) Let me know when we can hang out again, it's lots of fun!
