Emma's Baptism

I am so proud of this girl.... She is such a wonderful girl and an even more amazing example to our family. She is a natural born leader, super smart and totally cute! Emma has such a sweet testimony of her Savior and of how happy she can be when she follows the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I am truly thankful that she is my daughter and is sealed to me for eternity. I love you Emma.

On the way to the chapel... the sun was shining and Emma was reading... as she always is.

Hair was braided and Grandparents met us there. (This was when my dad had been sick and my mom couldn't be there.)

All my kids and cousin Dylan before her baptism.

In her baptismal dress. She was so cute!

How awesome that you, Emma, were baptized by your father. It was a special day for the two of you.

Daddy's little (not so little anymore) girl!

Emma was one of three from our ward getting baptized that day.

I made her this towel just for her.

And we gave her this necklace.

After we took her onto Coldstone for a new Severance Family tradition!

Running to the car cause it was SNOWING! Just enough to see the flurries! (See video below!) How special of a memory that on the day you were baptized that it snowed... in Vegas... in April!

Mmmm... besides getting to pick out her own flavor and mixins... these baby's came home, too.

Emma opened her gift from mom and dad... Her own set of scriptures, (name engraved as well,) included in a perfectly pink case.

Just something to hang on her wall...

One for the family history books...

She got this today. One week later... what a happy lil girl she was! Now you are official!

What can I say... all 4 kids love the camera and have become quite the posers... But to Emma it comes naturally. Such a sweet spirit! (These were the Sunday just after getting baptized and right before going to church.) Emma bore the most amazing testimony at church in front of the whole ward!

Emma, I pray that you ALWAYS remember this day. The spirit was so strong in that room and you were glowing! I remember when you were blessed as a baby and here you are... so beautiful in this second white dress. I hope you always remember the covenants you made that day at your baptism. Remember the sacrament and remember your Savior Jesus Christ. In the strength of the Lord you can do hard things. Daddy and I both love you sweetie!
