Authors Tea and Carnival fun

We were cordially invited to an Authors' Tea from hers truly... Emma Severance. Author, Illustrator and Publisher! Her story was titled, "The Day Has Come" and it will make anyone tear up within the first few pages. I will have to put it on here someday... Amazing Emma. That's my girl!

My inspiring author to be!

Le Carnival de Learning curve?

Apparently the boys school has problems with their scores overall so for the year end celebration they decided to hold a carnival... education style. Math facts, phonics, science... I am not sure that the school gets it that while it may be ok to involve learning into fun... the 80% of kids there were little... very little. There was only a prize at the M&M or math table, (put on by LJs teacher!) Either way we all had a blast!

Grandma came along and I am glad she did.
This was when Bryan was gone pretty much 24/7.
I told Scott to smile.... I love my little ham!

Scott was IN LOVE with the dunk tank. He ran off at one point and I found him sitting at a bench nearby just watching the guy fall in! LJ actually got him on the first throw.. that's right!

Bubble blowing... After answering questions you got to blow bubbles.
A reward in itself for these boys!

Face painting is always a must. Just not the lines!

This is the before picture. The after one is the same baby but with no ticket to be found... Oh, wait what's this yellow stuff in between your teeth?

LJ with his web... he was funny trying to watch him blink with that on!

Scott loves rainbows right now...
He took one look at it and said, "Wow, mom! That's amazing!"

We were babysitting another little boy that night, too. Imagine 4 kids hyped up on cotton candy... Oh, you can imagine? I am sorry for you, too.

I was invited to go out of town last minute with a good friend to a baseball game in CA. Although I really wish I would have gone... I knew I couldn't back out on my kids. They are so much fun and I love experiencing things with them. Their minds are so sweet and open to everything! I really love spending time with them and cannot wait for everything to come. They truly are my 4 little buddies!
