ROAD TRIP!
SO... before I time travel for a moment I must document HOW we were able to go on this trip. There was many reasons how...
A "stow-away" to help play with kids, a vehicle that seats 7, wonderful friends who let us stay at their home part of the time... Most importantly, is was owed to us. Not just that we needed this family vacation, but that we had a previous stay-cation planned for our family and Bryan's "time-off" was cut short by his boss calling him in. This was after a WHOLE year of no time off and working LOTS of hours upon hours including lots of weekends. I was not pleased with this. I know the kids were upset as they had been counting down the days and had planned the whole thing with me. How ever the "deal" went with Bryan and his boss... We ended up with time off and a vacation in California. It was either one day at Disneyland or 5 days at Legoland. Hmmm... We took a family vote and Legoland was unanimous. Then it was just waiting until daddy could get the time off. 3 days was better than nothing so off we went.
Road Trip and 5 happy cousins! SO excited that Haley went with us! It was her summer before going off to college and since her Senior year kept her busy we were glad to get to spend some time with her.

EVERY time we walked by this we HAD to jump on the circles... It activated the Lego instruments in front of them and they all played a part in a song. The more jumpers the better! Such a catchy tune!

The only thing to eat in the motel room that night was chocolate cake. Needless to say we went to the store early the next morning!
Scott passed out on the way to the motel. We even changed him into pj's and he never stirred. Proof of a great day!
