Ahhh... Water day! All though the weather was BEAUTIFUL everyday we were there... being from Vegas we looked forward to this day. (Vegas really needs a water park.)
Bring on the water!
Bring on the water!
ALSO... being a water park... We kept the camera in the locker. This is the only picture we took. Far away from the water!!
After all our water park fun we headed back into the main park to play in this pirate cove fort. The big barrel on top fills and dumps a pool of water on everyone!
Scott and Grace stayed with us and played in the toddler area again. I think they had even more fun this time since swimsuits and a warm sun made for a great time!
BEACH TIME! Our kids FIRST time ever at the beach. They were in awe. Couldn't believe that it just went on forever. Biggest thing they had ever seen. I think it was the most fun of all too!
Emma LOVED to wave jump!
I had to coax Scott and Gracie into the water. It was a lot for them to take in but they were soon joining the rest!
Grace took me for a walk back and forth along the beach... I think she was contemplating about going in.
More beach walking... The boys, Elijah, Scott and Westley, were good buds. They spent a lot of time together on the beach.
FINALLY! She went in! I think it was too cold for her tastes. But she went in!! (Actually the wave was bigger than I thought and we got a little surprise!!! Good one mom!)
The ride back to the Olaves, (thanks again guys!) was a quiet one... Grace was asleep too but woke up right when we got there.

The next day we headed home... On the way we detoured to see my best friend. Three years ago Emma and little Brian started Kindergarten. They had to ride the bus and that is how it all started. Two bus stop moms became BESTEST of friends! I was so excited to see her again seeing as how they moved two years ago to California and I was not able to attend her wedding. It was a short visit but SO glad I got to see her.
This is Brian and Emma... (and the dogs!) So cute!
For our first BIG family vacation I would have to say that it was a success! The kids still talk about it and Scott often asks to go back there. I just simply reply, "Me, too Scott... me, too."
